Drop files on the notch. They're copied in, so the originals can move. Drag them back out anywhere, or AirDrop the lot.
Clipboard
Searchable history with text, link, color and image detection — real swatches for hex codes — pinning and source-app attribution. Password-manager entries are never stored.
Claude usage
Reads your local Claude Code transcripts: tokens today by type, messages, tool calls, per-project totals, streak, and a 12-week heatmap. Nothing leaves the Mac.
Timers

What it doesn't pretend to do.
- The visualiser is synthesised, not an FFT. macOS won't let an app read another app's audio without a system-level tap and a capture prompt. The bars move with real playback state; they aren't the actual spectrum.
- Now playing means Music and Spotify. macOS 15.4 locked down the private API every notch app used, so Eclipse reads the two players that expose their state properly.
- Eclipse never asks for Accessibility. The global shortcut uses Carbon, volume comes from Core Audio listeners, and screen time uses the frontmost-app notification. First launch has zero prompts; each permission appears only when you open the tool that needs it.
- Revenue keys are read-only by design. Every request is a GET. Store a restricted key and it physically cannot refund or move money.

Questions
Does it work on a Mac without a notch?
Yes. Eclipse draws a synthetic housing at the top of the screen and everything works the same way.
Does it block the menu bar?
No. While idle the window is exactly the size of the camera housing — dead space you couldn't click anyway. While music plays it widens by 40 points each side so artwork can peek out; a click there opens Eclipse.
What data leaves my Mac?
Weather requests to Open-Meteo, and revenue requests to whichever payment provider you connect. That's the complete list. Clipboard, notes, screen time, shelf files and Claude usage never leave the machine.
Which macOS?
macOS 14 Sonoma or later, Apple silicon or Intel.
Can I turn tools off?
Every tool has a switch. Disabled tools disappear from the tab strip.
